CEO of Creative Places nominated for UKSPA Award /
Jonathan Burroughs, CEO of specialist R&D Property Consultancy Creative Places has been nominated for the UKSPA Award for the most significant contribution by a business affiliate, agency, sponsor, partnership or consultancy.
Jonathan is recognised for his work to drive the science park movement forward in the UK. Whilst within Bidwells he worked extensively on some of Cambridge Science Park's major initiatives – including the joint venture with adjoining owners Trinity Hall that ultimately paved the way for delivery of Phase VI and also the development of flexible laboratory space for Cantab Pharmaceuticals, since shared by both Genzyme and Xenova.
Jonathan Burroughs has led the science park advisory work for Bidwells since 2004 and noteworthy achievements since that time include the setting up of the first specialist science park investment vehicle in the UK (Quantum Property Partnership), the creation of a joint venture to pursue a specialist hospital based biomedical campus (Cambridge Biomedical Campus) and more latterly joint venture work on projects such as SPark Bristol and the Aberdeen Science Parks.
