about us
Creative Places was formed in 2008 in the heart of Europe's most prolific hi-tech cluster, Cambridge. It was established by professionals that have worked for many years in the city, to provide specialist advice on how best to deliver environments that serve the research, R&D and creative industry sectors. Creative Places works on projects across the UK and we travel extensively too, so as to be able to offer a wealth of experience and knowledge.
The team at Creative Places have strong and varied professional and academic backgrounds. Degrees held by individuals include Estate Management, History of Art and Architecture and Arts Management. Between us we have many years of relevant experience, working for national and regional property consultancy practices as well as for non-property related organisations, such as the BBC. Living and working in the Cambridge sub-region, the team has benefited from being part of a vibrant community of academic research excellence and innovative businesses. The networking culture in the city is strong and the Creative Places team play an active role in both this and networks elsewhere - particularly in London.
Through the team's experience and property training, Creative Places has evolved to deliver high quality, varied projects for public and private sector clients. Skills associated with organisational change and community development, looking beyond the bricks and mortar of property to create value, make Creative Places stand out as a truly unique consultancy.
