Tour de France to visit Cambridge 7 July 2014
As all keen cyclists will know, the early stages of next year’s Tour de France will be coming to the UK. After starting in Yorkshire the third stage of the world’s leading cycle race, watched by a global audience of around 3.5 billion, is to begin in Cambridge and we are delighted that it will pass right in front of our office as it progresses in front of Kings College along Kings Parade. Our CEO Jonathan Burroughs, who himself cycles to work each day, along with the rest of the team here will no doubt be cheering out the window at recent winners Chris Froome and Bradley Wiggins as they pass by.
Creative Places build the proposition at leading Biomedical Campus
We are delighted that Astra Zeneca has announced it’s intention to locate it’s global headquarters and research centre at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. We have worked for over a decade on the project, working with the hospital and landowner to select a joint venture developer (Cambridge Medipark Ltd) and then advising on how best to promote the proposition to potential occupiers. As AZ’s announcement has shown, this can deliver significant value to promoters of these projects and we’re really proud to have played our part in making CBC such an attractive location to R&D businesses today. Remaining land is now diminishing quickly and we would be pleased to respond to enquiries from interested parties.

Jonathan says 'In times when the research base is worried about funding, it is good that businesses want to pursue an open innovation agenda.
