Creative Places specialises in creating and shaping environments that enhance innovation and enterprise in the Research and Development sector.  This includes university campuses, science parks, biomedical campuses, urban districts and incubators/innovation centres. Our work is predominantly within the Golden Triangle of London, Cambridge and Oxford, but we also regularly work on projects across the rest of the UK and work to understand international best practice for application in our work.  

We have a unique opportunity for someone looking to take on the responsibility of working on innovative projects with R&D occupiers, using a cross- discipline approach. This role can be adapted to suit someone seeking a role at either a recently qualified (MRICS) level with recent agency and/or professional property experience, or a graduate with some experience seeking to advance their career in property.

What You’ll Do:

Working closely alongside the wider team, you will be helping clients achieve their objectives in a way that is efficient and productive. Some of your day-to-day tasks will include the following:

  • Attending client meetings and stakeholder engagement discussions
  • Active engagement within the R&D, clinical and academic communities within our key markets
  • Undertaking thought leadership research, analysing data and presenting findings/ recommendations as appropriate
  • Supporting with the preparation of real estate positioning and marketing strategies 
  • Supporting with the coordination of agency and investment transactions through to completion across multiple geographies.

This role can be adapted to suit someone looking for a role at a recently qualified (MRICS) level with recent agency/professional surveying experience, or a or a graduate with some experience seeking to advance their career in property.

It’s our preference that you have achieved at least a 2:1 grade in a property related degree, however we will also consider those that apply having finished a non-cognate degree with a passion for property and R&D.

Most of our roles involve being out and about, visiting sites and meeting clients. Therefore we ask that applicants have a full driving licence and access to their own car. However we know that this may not be possible for all individuals and if this is the case, we ask that you do highlight this to us so that we can explore options with you.

9am- 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 9am- 5pm, One hour lunch break
