Mitsui Stanhope

Client Challenges

Global investment fund Mitsui Fudosan and Developers Stanhope were selected by the British Library to deliver the extension to the library accommodation together with space for the Alan Turing Institute and commercial businesses. Located next to the Francis Crick Institute in Londons Kings Cross Knowledge Quarter, the site had evident potential for delivering space to accommodate Life Sciences R&D businesses and the clients wanted to understand the market for such space to develop designs and assess viability.

Our Solutions

We worked with the clients design team to review the potential for Life Sciences laboratory and associated space in the proposed design, considering specification, levels of fit out, potential demand and rental values.

Results

Mitsui Fudosan and Stanhope were able to review their proposals and identify how the development could meet the Life Sciences market in this key global location.
