Liam Nicholls

Liam Nicholls, CEO

Liam specialises in investment, development and asset management of R&D intensive locations. He has extensive experience in the life sciences. He brings understanding of the various elements required to nurture and capitalise on ecosystems of R&D activity as well as sector leading market knowledge and experience in the laboratory specification. 

His work encompasses several different client types including institutional investors and developers such as Oxford Properties (OMERS), Derwent London, British Land, Kadans Science Partner/AXA and Mission Street/BentallGreenOak. Liam has also advised a number of academic institutions and NHS Trusts, which include the Institute of Cancer Research, the University of Cambridge and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

Liam joined Creative Places in February 2016 from DTZ/Cushman and Wakefield, where he focussed on advising large corporate occupiers. During his five years there Liam gained international transactional experience as well as valuation, investment and financial modelling. He assisted clients such as ExxonMobil, Royal Bank of Scotland, Nestle, Ministry of Justice, Huawei, Vodafone and Royal Mail.

Liam graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2009 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2012.
